Within the GBNFC Group settings we aim to create a friendly environment for your child with lots of opportunity to explore experiment and learn through play, within the guidelines laid down by Ofsted. Our settings care for children from birth to 5 years, all our settings are registered with Ofsted with a good or outstanding grading and we are also members of the National Day Nurseries association.

We aim to give parents the chance to balance family and work responsibilities with the minimum of tension and the maximum stability which is affordable. Our experienced and qualified team of practitioners who are all CRB checked will give your child the highest quality of care throughout the day and will continuously record your child’s progress and development with our on line learning journal system Tapestry . The online system is a secure programme where you can see how your child is progressing in the settings and interact by comments and sending in your own observation and experiences while at home with your child. Each child has their own unique log in and password.

We offer your child the scope to acquire skills, learn to communicate, gain confidence and most of all to have fun. We present a wide range of activities which promote your child’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills as well as language development. These skills will be developed through both organised and child initiated play which stimulates initiative and imagination. Our Baby room cater to the needs of babies under two years in small groups. Each child has their own bed sheets for rest periods within the comfortable, stimulating setting, offering the opportunity to explore and learn. As the babies approach the time to move on to the next room they are gently integrated with the older children to make the transition from the “baby room” less daunting, this process happens through the setting from room to room.

Our Breakfast & after School clubs provide care up to the age of twelve years. Practitioners from the club escort the children to school from Breakfast club & collect the children from School to the after school club. Snacks are provided. Please speak to each individual leads for more detailed information.
